I was wondering about plastic surgery. What is it and where is the plastic? It's about the plastic specifically...
The thing about plastic is that it is plastic. There is actual very little plastic used in plastic surgery. It is more surgery than plastic if you think about it. Really, it's just surgery and not a lot of plastic. Yeah, plastic is in the name, but the name isn't everything about it. If you had to weigh the importance of the two words in the name "plastic surgery," my professional doctor opinion is that "plastic" would get 10-15% importance and "surgery" would definitely get 85-90% of the importance. The surgery is the real important part and don't let anyone tell you different. There are non-board-certified surgeons that may say the word "plastic" is like 50% (equal) importance, but they are wrong. So in conclusion, don't worry about the plastic.
